What is Industrial Diamond? What are its various types available today?

(MENAFN- Coherent Market Insights) Industrial Diamond is nothing but a man-made version of a diamond. Its composition is exactly the same as that of diamond and is used in all forms of industries. In other words, it is just another name for diamond. However, it is more precious than diamond and is used for all types of industries and not limited to one or two. They are capable of maintaining their original shape and structure with high dispersion of light and superior hardness. As they display high dispersion they are capable of resisting many common abrasive materials. They are therefore excellent for work places where high durability and hardness are a requirement.

Basically it is a crystalline form of the element carbon with all its atomic bonds arranged in a regular crystal structure termed as diamond, cubic zirconium, or diamonds. At room temperature, another common crystalline form of an element called graphite is also the most chemically stable form of pure carbon, yet diamond just never converts to it at room temperature and pressure. These are some interesting facts about Industrial Diamond.

Some other very interesting facts about diamond is discussed below:
Strength and hardness of Industrial Diamonds: This gemstone has proved to be the strongest and hardnesses gemstone present on earth to date. Its quality and strength are incomparable to other forms of natural gemstones. Its external appearance is like that of diamonds, i.e. it looks very beautiful.

Optical Properties: Diamond has a high dispersion of surface texture. It has high dispersion of crystalline structure. Due to its optical properties, diamond is used as a primary light source for many industrial applications. It is used for making windows, caps, countertops, and even headlights in vehicles. In spite of its optical properties, thus, they make up a major part of industrial gem diamonds.

The beauty of Diamonds: It is priced very high due to its high dispersion of crystalline structure and excellent optical properties. Many gemstone manufacturers use synthetic diamonds in production because it is cheaper than natural diamonds. But still, many buyers are not willing to pay for the price of Natural Diamonds because of their high dispersion of crystalline structure and beautiful optical properties. The appearance of diamonds, while similar to natural diamonds, have some differences. In addition to its cheap price, it is also popular for its vivid color and hardness.

Types: There is various type of industrial diamonds are available in the market today. These include Antique diamonds, Rough diamonds, Semi-precious stones, and Liquid Diamonds. Antique diamonds are old diamonds that have been found from the age of geology. Rough diamonds are those that are considered less perfect than colored gem diamonds but have great value due to their weight. And semi-precious stones are those diamonds that are categorized into a number of grades. Liquid Diamonds are the most recently introduced in the market; it is made from a different mixture of various elements like carbonate, bromide, and vanadium.
