Turkey assembling batch of Bayraktar TB2 UAVs for Ukraine

(MENAFN- UkrinForm) Turkey is already assembling a new batch of Bayraktar Tactical Block 2 (TB2) unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) for Ukraine.

MP of the Servant of the People faction Ihor Kopytin wrote about this on his Facebook page.

MP Kopytin, Deputy Defense Minister Oleksandr Myroniuk, and Ukrainian Navy Commander Oleksiy Neizhpapa visited the Baykar Defence company in Istanbul, where they inspected the production of unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs).

"Together with my colleagues, I was once again convinced that the Turkish side complies with its commitment to the Armed Forces of Ukraine," Kopytin noted.

As reported, in October 2020, Ukrainian Defense Minister Andrii Taran and Head of the Presidency of Defence Industries (SSB) of the Republic of Turkey İsmail Demir signed a memorandum outlining their intentions to launch and implement joint projects to build warships, unmanned aerial vehicles and all types of turbines.

In addition, Ukrainian Defense Minister Andrii Taran and Minister of National Defense of the Republic of Turkey Hulusi Akar signed a framework military agreement between the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine and the Government of the Republic of Turkey.

Turkish drones have demonstrated their effectiveness during hostilities in Syria, Libya and Nagorno-Karabakh.
