China raises its exports of medical goods,output

Officials said on Wednesday that China is increasing its medical supplies exports in order to aid in the international fight against the outbreak of the coronavirus pandemic with increasing the output capacity basically meeting the local demand.

An official with the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT), Cao Xuejun, said that the medical protective suits daily output capacity in China went over 1.5 million by Sunday, as the N95 face masks went over 3.4 million.

The data showed that the protective suits and medical face masks production came in at more than 842,000 and 1.8 million respectively in mid-March.

The official said that bug companies that were tracked by the ministry can manufacture 290,000 protective goggles and face coverings and more than 410,000 infared thermometers on daily basis.
