
Larson Electronics Releases 24V DC Explosion-Proof Switch, 5A, CID1, 2-Pole On/Off Switch

This unit is rated for use in Class I, Divisions 1 and 2 hazardous environments. This switch is made of malleable iron and operates on 24V DC.
The EPCS-SW1-PLG-V2 explosion-proof switch is rated for use in Class I, Divisions 1 and 2, Groups B, C and D; Class II, Divisions 1 and 2, Groups E, F and G; and Class III hazardous locations. This 2-pole unit is rated at 5 amps and is compatible with 24V DC. This unit features a green LED pilot light in a forward-facing configuration that alerts operators about the on/off switch status.
Larson Electronics' explosion-proof switch cover and housing box are made of malleable iron. This unit comes in a dead-end or feed-through configuration and operators can choose several hub sizes, including 1/2", 3/4' or 1'. Secure mounting to walls and other flat surfaces is achieved via two external mounting lugs. Suitable applications include industrial, manufacturing, lighting, and more.
