The largest automaker in South Korea, Hyundai Motor, said that it registered its highest revenue in the earlier year 2019 over an enhanced product mix and a good effect from the foreign exchange rate
The revenue of the company increased 9.3 percent in the year to reach USD90.8 billion in 2019, going over the USD86 billion mark for the first time in the history of the company.
The operating profit of the company increased 52 percent to reach USD3.2 billion, the net income came at USD2.8 billion in 2019 compared with USD1.4 billion a year before.
The high figures came due to the strengthened product mix with a rising sale of sport utility vehicles (SUV), like Palisade, that offset the drop in the overall sales volume.
