Bangladesh- Shahjalal Islami Bank launches Islami Shariah based credit card

(MENAFN- Bangladesh Monitor) Dhaka: Shahjalal Islami Bank Ltd. has launched Islami Shariah based credit card in order to provide better services to their clients. M. Shahidul Islam, Managing Director and CEO of the Bank presented the details about the credit card in a press conference held on June 29 at Hotel Purbani International in the capital.
Abdul Aziz, Additional Managing Director, Deputy Managing Directors Md. Shahjahan Shiraj and M Akther Hossain, Md. Shamsuddoha, Head of Public Relations Division and Bank Foundation, Md. Abul Bashar, Company Secretary, Md. Jafar Sadeq, Chief Financial Officer, Md. Marufur Rahman Khan, FCA and Head of Card Division were also present on the occasion, among others.
Based on the concept of Wakalah, Shahjalal Islami Bank Ltd. launched the credit card where the card holders can enjoy various facilities without any issuing charge.
Shahjalal Islami Bank Limited issued this EMV Chip based secured credit card into 3 different categories – Classic, Gold and Platinum. Every credit card holder can enjoy cashless transaction and shopping by using this card without any hassle.
On the other hand, customers can enjoy e-commerce services, EMI facilities (0 per cent profit rate) and discount at various restaurants too with the card. Platinum card holders will get to access Balaka Executive Lounge at Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport and enjoy different facilities and services it offers.
This credit card will also provide insurance facilities to the clients.
