(MENAFN) A war monitor reported on Wednesday that, because of the hard humanitarian condition in a refugee camp run by Kurdish forces in northeastern Syria, at least 485 people have died.
According to the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights, these people are mostly family members of Islamic State (IS) militants, who sought refuge in the al-Hol camp in the northeastern region of Hasakah following the successive defeats of the IS militants by the U.S.-backed Kurdish forces.
426 of those killed were kids under 18, most of them were from foreign nationalities like Britain, Russian, Portuguese, and several other nationalities, as said by the UK-based watchdog group.
The UK-based watchdog group added that, the people in the camp are suffering a hard condition with the need of medicine and good food, calling it the "camp of death."
