Uzbekistan to improve foreign investments
(MENAFN) The Uzbek Justice Ministry said on Friday that, Uzbekistan has introduced a three-year investor visa for foreigners and stateless people if they invest a minimum of 183,000 U.S. dollars in the country's economy.
The new measure is component of the Uzbek government's hard work to bring foreign investments and make the country attractive for tourists, Uzbekistan introduced compatriot, student, academic, medical and pilgrimage visas previously on this year.
The country has been making numbers of measures to improve tourism and has introduced 30-day visa-free regime for citizens of 85 countries.
Uzbekistan has been doing economic improvements in the last two years to bring the foreign investment and President Shavkat Mirziyoyev has tasked the government with rising the volume of foreign direct investment up to 4.2 billion dollars in 2019.
