Afghanistan- Plan Devised to Protect Weing Halls: Owners


(MENAFN- Daily Outlook Afghanistan) KABUL - The Wedding Hall Owner Association on Tuesdayannounced devising a security plan to protect their halls and would share theplan with security organs for implementation.
At least 63 people, including women and children, werekilled and another 182 wounded in a suicide bombing inside a wedding hall onSunday.
The blast took place in Chahardi area in the limits ofthe 6th police district of Kabul at Dubai Shahr wedding hall Haji MohammadNadir Qarghaee, head of the wedding hall owners association, told a pressconference in Kabul that the suicide bombing at the Dubai Shahr wedding hallhad worried people and negative impact on their business.
He urged security forces to ensure their hotels'security so as people could celebrate their happiness in a peaceful environment.
He said they had prepared a plan for protection oftheir wedding halls and the plan would be shared with security organs for itsimplementation.
Qarghaee also dismissed rumors that wedding halls hadstopped operating in Kabul, saying besides security forces they had also takenmeasures to ensure security of hotels and people. (Pajhwok)
