(MENAFN - NewsBytes) Chinese tech giant Realme has launched theRealme 5 Proand Realme 5 as the first-ever budget-segment smartphones to offer a quad-lens rear camera.

Both models share the same waterdrop notched design. However, they differ in terms of display, cameras, and internal specifications.

In India, the Realme 5 series starts at Rs. 9,999.

The Realme 5 Pro sports a waterdrop notched design up front, while on the rear it houses a quad camera setup and a physical fingerprint scanner.

The smartphone features a 6.3-inch LCD display with full-HD+ (1080x2340 pixels) resolution and Gorilla Glass 3+ protection.

Powering the handset is a Snapdragon 712 chipset, upto 8GB RAM, 64GB/128GB storage, and 4,035mAh battery with 20W fast-charging support.

Up front, the phone sports 16MP (f/2.0) selfie shooter.

Further, the main camera supports 4K video recording at 30fps, while the selfie camera can record 1080p videos at 30fps.

Notably, Realme 5 shares its design with the Pro model. The handset comes with a bigger 6.5-inch display with HD+ (720x1600 pixels) resolution, 19.5:9 aspect ratio, and Gorilla Glass 3+ protection.

The smartphone is powered by a Snapdragon 665 chipset, paired with upto 4GB RAM and upto 128GB of internal storage.

Under the hood, it packs a solid 5,000mAh battery with 10W fast-charging support.

The main camera offers features such as HDR, panorama, portrait mode, and is capable of recording 4K videos at 30fps.

For selfies and video calling, the handset sports a 13MP front-facing snapper.
