(MENAFN) A court has heard a British nurse has been raped by her Syrian roommate, who assaulted her in her bedroom.
The woman, aged 51, declared that the suspect came into the apartment with a woman, as he wanted to consider all of them to transfer into a villa.
However, the man, aged 26, then carried out his attack, according to a hearing at a Dubai court.
The nurse, who remains unidentified, claimed at Dubai Criminal Court: "'He started talking about the villa and that it had a swimming pool then all of a sudden he locked the door", according to sources.
