Saudi- Handling at Yanbu commercial port grows by 176% during first quarter

Yanbu, 29 April 2019 SPA -- Yanbu Commercial Port achieved a growth in handling operations during the first quarter of 2019 amounted to 1,394,918 tons of various general cargos, an increase of 176%, equivalent to 505.625 tons, while the increase in the percentage of incoming ships to the port was 137% for the same period of 2018.
This growth in the handling operations is an affirmation of the port's operational and logistical capabilities as part of the efforts of Saudi Ports Authority to enhance Saudi port services and increase their performance and productivity to achieve the objectives of the Kingdom's Vision 2030.
