Kuwait jumps 16 percent in property sales


(MENAFN) Kuwait generated USD933 million in the sales of its real estate in February 2019, marking a 16 percent boost.

A National Bank of Kuwait (NBK) report explained the surge to have come following hikes in commercial real estate sales which hit USD328 million.

Meanwhile, NBK revealed, the volume of transactions registered a drop to stand at USD243 million during the second month of the year.

NBK added that residential property sales reached USD361 million while sale of investment property was struck with a decline to USD243 million.
