Moto Z4 renders reveal design features, key specifications also leaked

As the successor to last year's Moto Z3, Lenovo-owned Motorola is working to launch Moto Z4 sometime soon.
In the latest development, 91Mobiles has leaked the first official press render of the phone, giving away its design features.
Moreover, the report has also claimed that Moto Z4 will come with Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 chipset and support 5G network.

Design & Display
As seen in the render, the Moto Z4 will feature a waterdrop notched display with ultra slim top and bottom bezels.
On the back, there's a 16-pin pogo connector for attaching Moto Mod and a single rear camera - a rare sighting on a 2019 flagship smartphone.
Further, the lack of a rear-mounted fingerprint scanner suggests we might see an in-display fingerprint sensor.
Moto Z4 will come with a 48MP Sony sensor
Camera
As per the renders, the Moto Z4 will have a single rear camera. Interestingly, the sensor will be one of the best available for smartphones as of now.
91Mobiles claims that the phone will come with a "48MP sensor sourced from Sony".
Up front, the waterdrop notch will house a single camera. But presently, we don't have details about the sensor.

The Moto Z4 is said to be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 processor. It is important to note that the phone won't natively support 5G. In fact, it will offer 5G compatibility via a 5G Moto mod - just like the Moto Z3.
Further, the phone is expected to come with Android Pie OS, a 3.5mm headphone jack, and a USB Type-C port.
Motorola may not launch a Z4 Play model this year

91Mobiles notes that identical renders of "a Motorola device being referred to as the Moto Z4 Play" are doing rounds on the internet. However, citing a source, the publication claims that the company "has no plans to release a Play model in Z-series this year."
