Iraq vehicle bombing leaves 2 dead, 25 wounded


(MENAFN) In western Iraq, terrorists blasted al-Qaim town on Friday in a vehicle bombing to leave two deaths and 25 injuries.

The town in in close proximity to the border with Syria, announced , head of al-Qaim town council Nadhim al-Dulaimi while speaking to Xinhua.

According to the official, "the final casualties from the car bomb explosion at a marketplace in al-Qaim town is two civilians killed and 20 others wounded, along with five policemen."

Al-Dulaimi added that "15 of the wounded have left the town's hospital after they received treatment from different wounds they sustained by the blast."

He further added that the car bombing caused 20 shops to be destroyed along with two buildings and seven civilian vehicles.
