Sri Lanka- UNP's Vasantha Senanayake attends cabinet meeting
(MENAFN- Colombo Gazette) Minister of Tourism and United National Party (UNP) Parliamentarian Vasantha Senanayake attended the cabinet meeting held today.
Senanayake has been crossing between the UNP and Maithripala Sirisena-Mahinda Rajapaksa camps over the past few days.
After October 26th Senanayake extended support to President Maithripala Sirisena and Prime Minister Mahinda Rajapaksa.
However last week he said the Government did not have majority support in the Government so he had decided to extend support to the United National Party.
He had also said that he will be resigning from his Ministerial post but he was never replaced in the cabinet. (Colombo Gazette)
