Three of four masked men who were armed with machetes and broke into two grocery stores in Johor, Malaysia, and drilled open safety boxes were chased and arrested early on Tuesday morning. Police were looking for one robber who escaped.
At about 4:20 am on Monday, the gang of four robbed a Green Apple grocery branch in Parit Bakar of Muar district of more than 60,000 ringgit in cash from a safety box, the Sin Chew Daily (Malaysia) reported. However, no one was arrested.

At 4:30 am on Tuesday, a branch of Green Apple in Bukit Pasir was visited by the same gang and when they tried to flee with 10,000 ringgit, they were chased by police.
Despite the fact that police fired two warning shots, one of the robbers continued to wave his machete at the police and his accomplices to run away. Four ran towards nearby woods, where officers managed to recover three of them, all Vietnamese nationals aged between 23 and 32.
The Muar police appealed to the public for the whereabouts for the last Vietnamese robber, and classified the case with attempted murder of the officers and house-breaking.
