Oman- Bank Sohar hosts VIP social gathering in Nizwa
Representing Bank Sohar and welcoming the guests at the event included Rajeev Arora, DGM and head of Retail Banking, Khamis al Rahbi, senior AGM Retail Banking, Hussein Shalwani, senior chief manager of Relationship Banking, Redha al Lawati, senior chief manager of Retail Liabilities and Sales, Khalfan al Shukaili, Nizwa branch manager, and other members of the banks senior management.
Upon arrival at the venue, guests were welcomed by a traditional music band followed by Omani traditional Halwa and coffee being served to the guests before a welcome note delivered by Shukaili.Lawati then addressed the guests in a speech highlighting the banks strategy and efforts to deliver positive impact for all its stakeholders, which he followed by a presentation about Bank Sohar's range of banking solutions.
To enrich the evening's agenda, the bank conducted a raffle draw for guests prior to conducting its popular monthly draws under the Al Mumayaz Savings Scheme, identifying a total of 45 lucky winner in the Women's, Children's, General, Branches and Exclusive categories. The evening came to a closure by a token of appreciation being presented to H E Kalbani and a group photo with the attending bank officials.Arora said, 'Launched under the 'Year of You' theme, our strategy in 2018 builds on a firm focus on customers. Our social gathering was a platform to engage with customers, introduce our innovative banking solutions to them and through the Al Mumayaz Savings Scheme monthly draws showcase the rewards of being part of the Bank Sohar family. It was great to see interest among the attendees.'
