Sudan supports Turkey 'at every occasion': FM
(MENAFN) Sudan is in support of Turkey "at every occasion", as affirmed the Turkish Foreign Minister Mevlut Cavusoglu on Wednesday.
While delivering a speech at the 10th Ambassadors Conference, the Turkish foreign minister stressed that "Sudan demonstrated its solidarity at every occasion, in particular in our fight against FETO [Fetullah Terrorist Organization]."
"Sudan is a very important partner for Turkey", the minister noted in reference of Turkey's Africa outreach policy.
Cavusoglu further added that his country has been a strategic partner of the African Union (AU).
