Iraqi court gives death penalty to Turkish women
(MENAFN) Over 15 Turkish women were convicted in the charge of joining the Islamic State group (IS), as an Iraqi court sentenced them with a hang till death penalty.
However, there's controversy whether all 16 of them are convicted in a death penalty, as some reports say one of them was imprisoned for life.
The judge declared that the accusers admitted marrying IS members or giving them "with logistical aid or helping them carry out terrorist attacks"
The Iraqi authorities announced war against IS in December, as the group has been forced out of their main fortresses, yet, the militants still carried out explosions and violations.
