(MENAFN- The Peninsula) SOCHI, Russia:The size of the Russianmilitary force in Syria will probably be reduced, ValeryGerasimov, chief of the general staff of the Russian armedforces, told reporters on Thursday.

He declined to elaborate on the dates and scale of thepossible troop drawdown.
