(MENAFN- Qatar News Agency) The Director General of International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) Yukiya Amano will embark on a visit to Tehran for meetings with high-level Iranian officials on Sunday.
The UN nuclear watchdong said on its website that the visit will focus on the ongoing cooperation between the IAEA and the Islamic Republic of Iran in the context of the Road-map for the clarification of past and present outstanding issues regarding Iran's nuclear program, according to Iran's (IRNA) News Agency.
Spokesman for the Atomic Energy Organization of Iran (AEOI) Behrouz Kamalvandi said that Amano's visit to Tehran is in line with Iran-IAEA Road-map.
