Iran hands 107 Pakistani nationals after illegal entrance


(MENAFN) After being arrested from different cities of Iran without valid documents, over 106 Pakistani nationals have been handed to authorities at Pakistan-Iran Taftan border crossing in south western Balochistan province, Radio Pakistan reported, IRNA reported.

The deportees would be handed over to Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) for further interrogation after completing initial inquiry.

Iranian authorities have been often deporting Pakistanis entering their country illegally.

Earlier Pakistan foreign ministry spokesperson Muhammad Faisal had said that Iran and Pakistan are engaged in strengthening cooperation on border management to stop the illegal movement of immigrants.
