DEATH TOLL RISES TO 14 AFTER HEAVY BLAST IN MOGADISHU, SOMALIA. People examine the explosion site in Mogadishu, capital of Somalia, on March 22, 2018. At least 14 people were killed and several others injured in a bomb attack outside a popular hotel in the Somali capital, Mogadishu, on Thursday. The bomb which ripped through the Wehliye Hotel was loaded with explosive materials and went off shortly before 5 p.m. local time. The hotel, located along the busy Maka Al-Mukarrama road, is frequented by senior government officials, including security officials.
