Russia kills over 30 militants in massive air attacks
(MENAFN) Russian Defense Ministry revealed the death of over thirty terrorists in northwest Syria in major Russian air attacks.
In a statement, the ministry also declared several high-accuracy weapon hits to have struck the militants' base, bringing down the Russian Su-25 jet through a portable anti-aircraft missile system.
The statement continued "according to radio intercepts, more than 30 Jabhat al-Nusra militants were killed."
The ministry confirmed a pilot to have met his demise amid a land clash with militants after getting out of the crash alive.
