(MENAFN- Tribal News Network) PESHAWAR: Three years have passed but parents still mourn the murder of their sons who were martyred at Army Public School on December 16, 2014 on this day.

Among the martyrs was 16-year old Mubin Shah Afridi, who was the only the son of his parents.

Resident of Gulberg Peshawar, his mother, while recalling the day when he was martyred, said he was smiling and was looking back repeatedly while leaving for school. The terrorists had attacked the school and martyred over 142 children. "I will never forget his beautiful smiling face," she said.

'It took us sixteen long years to grow him and the terrorists snatched him from us in just few moments,' she said.

Shah's father Dr Farooq said that he had also learnt Quran by heart and was a talented student who wanted to succeed in his life. 'His dreams remained unfulfilled as well as ours but this is a fact that terrorists would never deter our resolve,' he said.

He added that this devastating incident would never be forgotten till the day-of-judgment and the nation would defeat terrorism with a firm resolve. He paid tribute to the martyred children and their parents

This tragic day would be remembered as black day in history of the country, such a great loss that led the nation to forget disintegration of the motherland.
