(MENAFN- Tribal News Network) KARAK: Two persons were injured on Friday after they resisted a robbery on Indus Highway near Sandakhram area of Karak district, the police said. They said that the passengers were on way Peshawar when the robbers stopped the vehicle they were travelling in.
The passengers, whose names could not be ascertained, resisted the robbery and tried to overpower the robbers. The robbers opened fire, injuring them seriously and escaped from the scene.
The injured were shifted to a hospital in Peshawar where doctors said they are in stable condition.
