Pakistan- Woman councillor killed in Battagram
(MENAFN- Tribal News Network) BATTAGRAM, 14 December: A woman councillor was killed by unknown miscreants in Battagram on Tuesday.
Police said woman councillor of Village Council Tamai Husan Nisa had gone to a nearby canal to wash clothes, where unknown people killed her after torturing her.
Police recovered the body of the woman councillor from the canal which bore torture marks. The motive behind the murder could not be ascertained.
Police have sent the body for post mortem and further investigations are underway.
