Kuwait- Liquor supplied in gunny bags
KUWAIT CITY, Dec 10: Jahra securitymen arrested an Asian expatriate in possession of 11 sacks of locally manufactured liquor. According to security sources, the officers were patrolling Saad Al-Abdullah area when they suspected an individual driving a vehicle and ordered him to pull over. When they asked him for his identification documents, the driver appeared nervous.
The officers decided to conduct a precautionary search which resulted in the discovery of 11 sacks containing locally manufactured liquor hidden in the trunk of the car. When questioned, he admitted to manufacturing and selling liquor to his compatriots. Meanwhile, securitymen arrested an Indian expatriate in possession of 20 bottles of locally manufactured liquor in Mina Abdullah area. He was arrested at the side of the road where he had stopped his car. Both suspects were referred with the confiscated liquor to the concerned authorities for necessary legal action.
