Ashgabat hosting 28th meeting of Energy Charter Conference

The 28th meeting of the Energy Charter Conference, an inter-governmental organization, kicked off in Ashgabat Nov. 28 and will run until November 29.

The heads and representatives of the energy ministries of the organization's member-states and observer countries, a number of international and regional organizations will participate in the meeting, Energy Charter Conference said in a message.

The work of the Energy Charter Conference will consist of two parts: statutory and ministerial.

The agenda of the event includes the results of the activity of the Energy Charter Conference in 2017, as well as a wide range of issues related to the further improvement of its work and promotion of cooperation to ensure sustainable energy in the future.

An energy exhibition will be held as part of the event. The adoption of the final document is expected to be adopted following the event.
