Beijing: nursery school teacher in custody for alleged child abuse
(MENAFN) In the capital of China, Beijing children at a nursery school run by RYB Education Inc have been allegedly experiencing abuse by a twenty-two year old female teacher who had been detained by Beijing police.
Officers are carrying out an investigation into allegations of children being forced to take pills, pierced with needles and stripped naked. There were also claims that the teacher had injected the more than eight children with unidentified substances.
RYB Education is joining hands with the police in the investigation and would "not shake off the responsibility" in case an actual abuse was confirmed to have occurred, according to a statement it released on Thursday.
