Video: Dubai hotel apartment fire brought under control
(MENAFN- Khaleej Times) A fire that had broken out in a building in Dubai on Wednesday afternoon has been brought under control.
According to eyewitnesses, the fire broke out in the Akas-Inn Hotel Apartment in Al Barsha 1, near Centro Rotana.
Plumes of smoke could be seen billowing from the roof of the building.
It was not immediately clear if other floors of the building were also affected, and whether there have been any injuries.
According to a Khaleej Times photographer at the spot, the fire had broken out in a kitchen in the building, and was quickly brought under control.
