'National Day of Oman a joyous occasion for Gulf nations'

KUWAIT CITY, Nov 20: The Embassy of Oman in Kuwait celebrated its 47th National Day at the Jumeira Hotel under the auspices of the Ambassador Dr Adnan bin Ahmed Al-Ansari, and with guest of honor HH Sheikh Nasser Al-Mohammad Al-Sabah. In an address, Sheikh Nasser said the National Day of Oman is a joyous occasion for all Gulf countries.
He congratulated the leadership of Oman and the people, beseeching Allah the Almighty to protect all Arab leaders, including Sultan Qabous of Oman. For his own part, the State Minister for Cabinet Affairs and acting Minister of Information Sheikh Mohammad Al-Abdullah expressed joy representing the Kuwaiti government at the memorable event.
He went on to praise the sisterly relations between Kuwait and Oman. In response to a question concerning the latest developments on the Gulf crisis, the minister was optimistic it will be resolved soon and asked Allah the Almighty to bless the mediation efforts of HH the Amir Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmed Al- Jaber Al-Sabah.
Also, Minister of Commerce and Industry and State Minister of Youth Affairs Khalid Al-Roudhan congratulated the Omani leadership and the people on the occasion of the National Day. He commended the positive development in commercial and investment cooperation between Kuwait and Oman, through which the door of investment will be made accessible to Omani investors with all facilities. The Omani Ambassador to Kuwait Dr Adnan Al-Ansari congratulated Sultan Qabous bin Saeed on the country's 47th National Day and expressed fulfillment on the huge turnout, which he said, refl ects superb relations between Oman and Kuwait. He noted the Gulf countries are bound by unity and sisterly relations.
