Pakistan- Police officer among two killed in Mardan over land dispute

(MENAFN- Tribal News Network) MARDAN: A police inspector and his brother were gunned down and another injured in Rustam area of Mardan district here on Friday over land dispute, the police said.

The police said that Muhammad Israr and his brother Muhammad Shaheen were on way home from Rustam bazaar when gunmen shot them dead in Landi village. The injured was taken to District Headquarters Hospital.

The police said that Ghazan, Saran and Zarif were nominated by Jehanzeb Khan, a brother of the deceased. Theu said that motive behind the crime was a land dispute.
