Prince Talal attends opening ceremony of Louvre Museum Abu Dhabi

Abu Dhabi, Nov. 8 (Petra) -- Deputizing for his majesty King Abdullah II, HRH Prince Talal Bin Muhammad, the King's special adviser, attended the opening ceremony of the Louvre Museum Abu Dhabi.
The museum was inaugurated by HH sheikh Mohammed bin Rashed Al-Maktoum, UAE Vice President, Prime Minister and ruler of Dubai, HH Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, crown prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, French President, Emmanuel Macron, and a number of leaders and representatives of countries.
The museum includes 600 pieces of ancient artifacts and modern art, as well as 300 pieces of borrowed works from French museums spread over 23 permanent galleries.
The Louvre Abu Dhabi Museum highlights the history of artistic creativity of humanity and the interconnections and commonalities of different civilizations and cultures.
