Oman- 47 arrested for violating fishing law
(MENAFN- Muscat Daily) Muscat- The Ministry of Agriculture and Fisheries (MoAF) has announced via Twitter that it has arrested 47 workers for violating the Marine Fishing Law and Protection of Living Aquatic Resources.
'Inspectors from the fisheries department arrested 40 illegal workers in the fishing area in Ras Mdarka and seven from Khubba and Dafah in Jalaan Bani Bu Ali, South Sharqiyah governorate,' said MoAF.
