Qatar denounces Iraqi embassy attack in Kabul
(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) DOHA, Aug 1 (KUNA) -- Qatar expressed its strong condemnation for the attack that targeted attack Iraqi embassy in the Afghan capital Kabul that resulted in killing two workers at the embassy.
In a statement, the Qatari foreign ministry stressed importance on its stand and complete rejection to violence and terrorism regardless of all its motives and reason.
The statement also offered condolences to the victims' families and the Afghan government.
Last night, a suicide bomber detonated his explosives at the gates of the Iraqi embassy, and later three attackers stormed the embassy and fired shots.
Afghan Interior Ministry said the so-called (IS) claimed responsibility for the attack. (end) nnd.mb
