Saudi- Border guards in Tabuk thwart attempt to smuggle narcotics

Riyadh, 27 Rajab,1438 AH, 24 April,2017 , SPA -- The electronic surveillance systems of Border Guards in Tabuk region spotted yesterday a boat crossing the Kingdom's maritime borders as it attempted to smuggle a large quantity of narcotics.
The spokesman of the border guards, Commodore Saher bin Mohammed al-Harbi, pointed out that two Egyptians were arrested on board the boat, while they were trying to smuggle 926,000 tablets of amphetamine "Captagon" and "3968" kilo grams of opium drugs.
