Future Drainage & Stormwater Networks UAE conference was successfully launched at Yas Viceroy Abu Dhabi Hotel in Abu Dhabi UAE and was endorsed by Abu Dhabi City Municipality Department of Municipal Affairs. This conference has been established to act as the official platform for the Abu Dhabi Stormwater Master Plan 2030 and was brought to the UAE in order to help facilitate the ongoing requirements for the design construction refurbishment operation and maintenance of effective stormwater sewerage and drainage networks across the Emirates.
Abu Dhabi City Municipality engineers discussed the overview of Abu Dhabi City stormwater master plan as per Abu Dhabis vision 2030. UNESCO-IHEs professor explored the latest in climate changing and the adaptation to extreme events. WS Atkins representatives shared case studies from Prince Sultan Cultural Centre Development & North Al Wathba Major Project about Stormwater Solution. Day one was concluded by a workshop delivered by Abu Dhabi City Municipality (ADM) officials discussing the process approvals and permits at ADM.
