PGA Pro Milo Breitenwischer the Oman golf Committee's (OGC) junior team coach has hailed the newly-included faces in the national U15 squad.

The OGC recently included four golfers - Naseh al Barwani Mohammed al Balushi Qussiah al Barwani and Ayman al Busaidi - in the junior national side.

The trio of Naseh Ayman and Qussiah had taken part in the recently concluded U15 GCC Golf Championship held in Manama Bahrain. Mohammed had accompanied them as a reserve player. Mohammed was included in the OGC's development squad a few months back.

After several rounds of screenings these kids eventually made the cut entering the U15 squad after having trained at Ghala Golf Club. Breitenwischer's assessment of the kids are positive.

After seven year old Ayman spent a few months in the OGC's development squad Breitenwischer was well aware of his talent. In an assesment he marked him out as 'potential member of junior national team' and he was 'close to getting a handicap as well'.

Breitenwischer said 'Ayman is talented and he has a lot of dedication. For his age he plays exceptionally well. He is very passionate about golf and shows a lot of commitment. It makes him one of the best players in the development squad although he is still very young.'

Breitenwischer is equally enthusiastic about Qussiah saying 'He gets to participate in all training sessions. He is not yet a very exceptional player yet but more practice and seriousness can really make him a better golfer.'

As for Mohammed the coach said 'He has showed his talent hitting good shots on the driving range. He hits the ball very far. That was the reason why we had selected him to participate in Under15 event. I am now working on his technique to hit more consistent shots.'

Mundhir al Barwani the OGC chairman said 'We have a good reputation about our U15 team. We have always achieved a podium finish. This year was challenging for our new players.'

Praising the new players' selection process Barwani said 'Milo has done his job with great precision. We were not certain who to choose from a group of trainees. But Milo worked hard to make the right picks.'

Ahmed al Jhdhamy the OGC vice-chairman said 'We have a good record in the U15 category. We will have to maintain that. Hope these new kids will fly the Omani flag high at the GCC level.'
