Oman dazzles at Middle East's biggest music awards ceremony

The Middle East's biggest
music Award Ceremony World Top DJ Award (WTD2015) was held recently.
the event concluded bringing together several international and Middle Eastern stars under one roof all with a common goal to celebrate and honour both known and unknown hard working and extremely talented personalities in the entertainment and event industry. The top DJ title was awarded to DJ Tiesto and best club in Middle East was awarded to Club Sensation Dubai. Oman being celebrated for the very first time by being nominated for the Best Radio DJ Middle East which was awarded to DJ Darren Short from Hi FM Oman and also the Best Event Agency in Music Festivals was awarded to Oman based Axis Events LLC. The premium award ceremony that took place at the Dubai Marina witnessed performance from Baby Brown DJ Vlader DJ Shadow DJ AKS and other upcoming stars. 'These amazing recognition by the International Entertainments Industry will drive Oman's focus towards tourism development. In the past we have experienced many residents and citizens moving out of the country in order to celebrate occasions which was mainly due to the lack of options available in Oman but recently we are getting excellent response and participation from the community we also had visitors from Saudi and Bahrain for our last event' said Dr Nithin R S CEO of Axis Group. Short said 'It is an award of honor to be recognised by international platforms. Oman over the years has been enfolding in many ways and has accepted and always been open to change. Rising in the field of entertainment will definitely open wider doors towards tourism in the country.' Almouj Golf has bagged the number two ranking in the top 10 golf courses across Middle East as per Golf Digest MiddleEast. It is the only golf course in Oman which was considered for this nomination and many of the top international level golfing events have chosen Almouj Golf as their favourite venue. Is Oman the new tourism destination? Is it the new top tourismspot? We have all witnessed international artistes and bands coming to Oman recently. It is amazing how we get to experience all of this. But have you heard of an entire Music festival coming all the way to Oman? That's true Axis Events is in agreement with World Top DJ's association to bring an international level music festival very soon for the first time ever in Oman. This seems like a new beginning for this country instead of people leaving Oman to find a better entertainment destination Muscat might actually be opening up to present bigger and better events and bring international talents together.
