UAE- DME Oman crude futures slip 36 cents

DUBAI 10th November 2015 (WAM) --- The price of Oman crude Oil Financial Contract on the Dubai Mercantile Exchange (DME Oman) for delivery in January slipped US$0.36 on Tuesday closing at US$43.99/barrel at the DME at 12:30 p.m. Dubai local time.

The DME Oman is the exchange's flagship contract and a benchmark for pricing crude oil. The exchange gives a differential price that reflects the quality of the product.

Launched in 2007 as a joint venture between Dubai Holding Oman Investment Fund and CME Group the DME is the premier energy-focused commodities exchange in the East of Suez and home to the world's third crude benchmark.
