ARABAL Conference 2015 to Discusses Integration of GCC Aluminum Industry

(MENAFN- Saudi Press Agency) Riyadh Dhu-AlHijjah 2 1436 Sep 16 2015 SPA -- The Arab International Aluminum conference and exhibition (ARABAL) organized by the Saudi Arabian mining Company at Dhahran International Exhibitions Center Eastern Province from 15 - 17 November 2015 will discuss the integration of the basic and manufacturing aluminum industries among the GCC.
On the first day of the three-day event the CEOs of the Gulf companies will examine the current situation of aluminum markets and investment opportunities in the Gulf region as well as market analysis and search the sustainability of the industry and discuss the challenges facing investors.
The second day of the conference will focus on the aluminum industry's best practices in environment health and safety as well as operational excellence productivity innovation and technology topics considered as basic keys to new markets.
Day three will provide a Technology Workshop and the opportunity to go to Ma'aden Aluminum's Ras Al Chair plant designed to be the world's most efficient and integrated of its kind.
Ma'aden Aluminum (MA) is a joint venture between the Saudi Arabian Mining Company (Ma'aden) and Alcoa. The US$10.8b project is designed to be the largest and most efficient integrated aluminum complex in the world.
For his part Ghanem Al-Ghanem Aluminum Sales Director at Ma'aden and member of the Conference Executive Committee said that "ARABAL will witness the participation of all the region's leading aluminum companies alongside reputable global companies and will address topics of interest to investors in the industry especially in the Gulf region by focusing on the industrial integration among each other noting that the conference would also witness the introduction of new studies workshops and rich debate sessions.
The ARABAL Conference is considered one of the most important events in the aluminum industry as 'MA'ADEN' is seeking to use it to review the opportunities available within the company and present the Kingdom as an investment destination for aluminum companies which would contribute in attracting foreign capital and localization of the global technology.
Many international companies have confirmed their participation which will enrich the debates in the conference presented by speakers and specialists in the industry and highlight the latest developments in the aluminum industry and the economic effects of the production operations. There will also be an exhibition to review and display the latest production technologies in the aluminum industry.
