Oman Air to support new youth football programme

(MENAFN- Muscat Daily) The current partnership between the Oman football Association (OFA) and Oman Air is set to reach new heights if sources in the both the organisations are to be believed.
While a renewed deal with the OFA - as signed on Wednesday - involves Oman Air as the official carrier of the senior national team new initiatives are being planed to bolster their relationship.
'A joint programme between OFA and Oman Air aimed at the youth of the country is in the final stages of approval. We are hopeful of launching it soon' an official said on condition of anonymity.
Paul Gregorwitsch Oman Air's CEO said on Wednesday that it was looking for new ways to support the OFA with youth programme as the priority.
'The OFA is doing a great job in nurturing budding talent in the country. We would like to support not just the senior national team but also the future stars of the country' Gregorwitsch said.
