Focus on Economic Partnerships
Officials from the IIA said the dialogue aimed to convert the long-standing cultural and geographical ties between India and Nepal into tangible business opportunities.
“This is the right time to convert the existing goodwill into practical business opportunities,” said Aman Agrawal, Chairman, IIA's International Relations Cell, as quoted by TOI.
Investment Opportunities Highlighted
The Nepal delegation presented details of investment prospects in Nepal, including its liberal foreign investment policies, special economic zones and ongoing business-friendly reforms.
Addressing the participants, Thapa emphasised that India-Nepal relations are built on shared history, culture and strong people-to-people connections. He noted that enhanced economic cooperation, particularly with Uttar Pradesh, could play a key role in promoting regional growth and prosperity.
