Qatar Win 4X400m Relay Silver As Medal Haul Hits Double Figures In Hong Kong
Qatar's Youssef Abdulaziz, Mohammed Abdullah, Mohammed Mousa and Samir Mousa celebrate winning the silver medal in the 4×400m relay race at the Asian Youth Championships in Hong Kong. The quartet clocked a new Qatari time of 3:05.06. In other key performances, Qatar's Faisal Abdullah also won silver medal in the 400m hurdles, Hamad Daawi Al-Sultan bagged a bronze medal in the discus throw while Abdullah al-Ibadullah clinched a bronze in the pole vault competition. Ibadullah recorded a new personal best and secured a qualification for the World Youth Championships to be held in Oregon in the US from August 5 to 9, 2026. Qatar's medal tally in Hong Kong reached double figures, with three gold, four silver and three bronze medals.
