Hot To Very Hot Conditions Expected Saturday

(MENAFN- Gulf Times) The Department of Meteorology has forecast hot to very hot conditions during the day until 6:00 pm on Saturday inshore, with fine weather offshore. Strong winds and high seas are expected in northern offshore areas by evening.

Inshore winds will be mainly southwesterly to northwesterly at 6-16 knots (KT), gusting to 26 KT during the daytime. Offshore winds will be southwesterly to northwesterly at 8-18 KT, with gusts reaching up to 24 KT in northern areas by evening.

Sea conditions inshore will range between 1 and 3 feet, rising to 5 feet in northern areas. Offshore seas will range from 2 to 5 feet, rising to as high as 7 feet in the north.

Visibility, both inshore and offshore, will range between 5 and 9 kilometers.
