Singapore: HE Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of State for Defense Affairs, Sheikh Saoud bin Abdulrahman bin Hassan Al-Thani met with HE Senior Minister in the Singaporean Prime Minister's Office and former Prime Minister, Lee Hsien Loong, at the Presidential Palace (Istana), on the margin of His Excellency's participation in the Shangri-La Dialogue 2026 currently underway in the Republic of Singapore.

The meeting discussed the latest security developments and updates in the region, in addition to avenues for joint cooperation and coordination in light of current circumstances.

The meeting was attended by HE Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the State of Qatar to the Republic of Singapore Abdulaziz bin Ahmed Al Malki Al Jehani, along with several top-echelon officers and officials from both sides.
