War Update: 58 Clashes On Front Line Since Morning

(MENAFN- UkrinForm) According to Ukrinform, this was stated in a post by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on Facebook about the situation as of 16:00 on May 30.

Border settlements in Sumy region - Ryzhivka, Korenok, Bachivsk, Sopich, Rohizne, Bunyachyne, Yastrubshchyna, Bezsalivka, Atynske, and Vilna Sloboda - as well as Hremiach in Chernihiv region, came under Russian artillery fire.

In the Northern Slobozhanshchyna and Kursk directions, there were five combat engagements, and Russians carried out 30 strikes on settlements and positions of Ukrainian troops.

In the Southern Slobozhanshchyna direction, Russian troops stormed Ukrainian positions five times in the areas of Veterynarne and Lyman, and toward Izbytske and Ternova.

In the Kupiansk direction, Russian forces attacked the positions of the Defense Forces twice, toward Novoosynove and near Petropavlivka; one clash is still ongoing.

In the Lyman direction, Ukrainian soldiers repelled four attempts by Russian invaders to advance toward Drobysheve, Stavky, Lyman, and Ozerne; two clashes are still ongoing.

In the Sloviansk direction, the Defense Forces stopped one Russian attempt to advance toward Kryva Luka.

In the Kramatorsk direction, the enemy did not carry out offensive actions.

In the Kostiantynivka direction, Ukrainian defenders stopped four Russian attacks near Pleshchiivka.

In the Pokrovsk direction, Russian invaders tried 19 times to push Ukrainian troops from their positions in the areas of Rodynske, Novooleksandrivka, Hryshyne, and Udachne, and toward Bilytske and Dorozhnie; two clashes are still ongoing.

In the Oleksandrivka direction, the enemy twice tried to advance toward Kalynivske; one clash is still ongoing.

In the Huliaipole direction, the Defense Forces repelled 18 Russian attacks in the areas of Zlahoda and Olenokostiantynivka, and toward Vozdvyzhivka, Verkhnia Tersa, and Huliaipilske; five clashes are still ongoing.

In the Orikhiv direction, the enemy did not conduct any active offensive operations.

No significant changes in the situation are currently taking place in other directions. No attempts by Russian forces to advance have been recorded.

As Ukrinform reported, the Unmanned Systems Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine have taken under fire control the entrances to the Russian-occupied city of Debaltseve in Donetsk region and cut the Debaltseve-Alchevsk overpass.
