Bax noted that cultural and creative industries generate more than 3.4% of global GDP and account for approximately 3.6% of employment, with a significant portion of this activity concentrated in cities.
According to her, when integrated into urban planning and housing development policies, these sectors become not only engines of economic growth but also vital sources of resilience, empowerment, and social support for the population.
The third day of the 13th session of the World Urban Forum (WUF13) is underway in Baku.
